I am a full-stack software engineer, with previous experience as a tax professional. I fell in love with the creativity and critical thinking programming has after working closely with a programmer on a project a couple years ago. I started to take some classes online and coded as a hobby. In 2022, I finally decided to become serious about software engineering, and took a 24 week immersive course at App Academy to jumpstart this pivot in my career.

Currently I am soaking up as much knowledge and practice as I can in an attempt to perfect my craft. I have experience using Python, Javascript, SQL, Node.js, Express.js, ReactJS and Redux to build some single-page applications, and I've just started diving into S3 storage on AWS. I also have coded some Java application in my previous online classes.

In addition to software development, I have broad interests including interior decorating, object photography, cooking and celestial observation.
